Upcoming Gigs Announced

Howdy folks! It's been a little quiet on this front, but rest assured a lot of work is going on behind the scenes

We've got several gigs coming up in the next couple of months, namely our upcoming performance at the Key City Theatre as part of the Fisher Peak Winter Ale Concert Series in Cranbrook, BC. We'll be joined by the talented Emma Kade who has some amazing releases online. If you or music lovers you know live in the area, please do come on down and support live music in this beautiful venue!

Finale Concert: Flint & Feather and Friends

Hey friends, our 'Flint & Feather and Friends' music series is now drawing to a close with only one remaining date to go. We've had such an incredible time sharing the stage with some amazing acts from Alberta. Please consider joining us for the series finale at the Asylum for Art on Sunday, November 6th, 2022 from 2-4pm (MST). It's sure to be an epic show.

Sunday, November 6:
Our final featured artist for the series is Scarlett Butler, a talented songwriting duo turned professional performing artists. With a decade of successful radio hits (250+ songs) under their belts, Troy Kokol and Joni Delaurier bring their songwriting prowess to the forefront - but this time, for themselves. Gifted musicians and singers, Troy and Joni captivate audiences' moments after their first notes ring out. Their latest single 'Big Vacation' is a fresh summer love song, and can be found on all major streaming services. To top it all off, Scarlett Butler also recently showcased for the Arts Touring Alliance of Alberta at Alberta Showcase. Lots of good things are coning their way!

Flint & Feather and Friends #5

For those who attended or tuned-in this past weekend, wow... what an incredible performance by Silvia Temis and Notas de 4! We wish them great success at Manitoba Showcase this week, where they will perform for the Manitoba Arts Network. We have two more delightful guest artists left in our series and hope you'll consider joining us at either event or online for their respective livestreams here or on Facebook.com/flintnfeather.

Sunday, October 30:
This week’s feature artist is Sonia Deleo, a folk-soul powerhouse based in Calgary. A jaw-dropping vocalist, Deleo has a rich history in live performance and has co-fronted other acts including The Fig & The Flame. Now a full-fledged songstress in her own right, Sonia is poised to make a well-deserved name for herself with the release of her debut album, 'Love Notes To The Monsters' – a recording that is sure to receive critical acclaim. Witness the power and passion of Deleo’s voice and be swept away by her songs.

Flint & Feather and Friends #3

Speaking of Thanksgiving... We wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who joined us in-person or tuned-in online to our concert yesterday at Asylum for Art. We are so glad you chose to spend part of your day with us. It really meant a lot to us - and we're already looking forward to seeing you again Sunday afternoons from 2-4pm (MST) for the next four weeks!

Sunday, October 16:
This week’s feature artist is Phillip Alexander Nugent, a Bow Valley folk troubadour from Canmore, Alberta. The juxtapositions that inspire Phill’s songs – like the comfort of family and the freedom of travel, or the solitude of nature and connection with an audience, weave rich storylines into his lyrics and add layers of depth into his engaging performances.
